Great, Gaddafi was the one man from those who thought that all the muslim countries must have a muslim army and muslim bank but all of them was killed and plan was not compeleted by any one.
It should also be kept in mind that he was a tyrant, just like Hajjaj bin Yusuf. In fact, at the deat of Hajjaj bin Yusuf, Imaam-ut-Tabieen Hasan Al-Basri (Rahmatullahi alayhi) made a dua of relief. Gadddafi may have done a lot of good things, and might have good intentions; however, at the end of the day he killed his own people calling them "rats and roaches". Is this what a great Islamic leader should do? Leadership in Islam is not an easy thing to have...it is as the messenger of Allah sallahu alayhi wa sallam said, "maa ana alayhi wa ashaabi" (follow my way and the way of my Sahaaba). Had he taken the advise of Allah's messenger he would have made a lot of progress in this life and definetly in the hereafter.

ReplyDeleteNice post. Though I'm not completely indulged with politics and warfare, I'm still quite interested. : )
